Who Needs Data
We Provide Remote Sensing Professionals with Crucial Data That Speeds Up Projects and Ensures QA/QC

By definition, remote sensing means acquiring information without coming into contact with the object being studied. Of course, when the studied object is the earth, Ground Truth in the form of accurate, verifiable Ground Control Points brings QA/QC to remote sensing that cannot be equaled anywhere else.

CompassData provides Remote Sensing Professionals the verification they need to ensure that their mapping project will contain the most accurate data available today.

CRSSP

The USGS recommends that as part of implementing US Commercial Remote Sensing Space Policy (CRSSP), that remote sensing professionals us existing commercial imagery and data as much as possible.

Using existing Ground Control Points, such as are available through the CompassData GCP Archive, is also consistent with the spirit of this policy.
